HIYAH! Didn’t see you there. Welcome back and thanks for stopping by if you’re new. Coincidently...it just happens to be EASTER. So Happy Easter to everyone that celebrates it! Easter in essence marks new life and new beginnings. A new life wherein we live a little more happily. So I found it quite fitting to publish this series today. And by the power invested in me by the Secret Society of United Struggling Teens I hereby declare the commencement of a new blogger series. A series so enriching that people will lose all interest in social media and idle chitchat. It will revolutionize the way teens approach life and by all means prevent the so-called epidemic of sleep insomnia. (I mean at least for most of you.) Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo........ I got this bright idea amid the unnecessary stress I began to find myself falling victim to in the recent months of school. So picture this: Among the depths of my despair I was sitting on my bed scrolling through Youtube and across the room my Trig notes, for a test the very next day, lay taunting my every move. I found myself engaging in a staring contest with an inanimate object. Yes, I had gone mad, but hear me out. I obviously did NOT study and we all know how the rest of the story goes. Needless to say, I aced the test. HA! No, not really. Well, at least I didn’t fail. Of course this idea was also influenced by my excessive bingeing of Kalyn Nicholson YouTube videos, but let’s pretend I never said that... you never know who’s reading these things nowadays. Essentially, GYST is a term coined by Kalyn Nicholson, one of my favorite Youtubers, who has definitely made her way on this blog quite a few times before. She defines GYSTING as a way to take time and improve the different aspects of your life that you may find yourself neglecting. The word GYST is an acronym that stands for Get Your Shit Together, or if we want to be PG, Get Your Stuff Together. You can get your life together almost every morning. You can get it together every day, every week, every month, every year, and when you feel the need to reassess your life and how you are doing at that moment. You can GYST anytime, anywhere, and any way you want...and that is why I am here. Why am i starting this series? My hopes for this series is to prove that while we may act like our whole lives may be together many times we find ourselves realizing that they aren’t. One of the biggest things that so many people, including me, struggle with in life is balance. There are so may competing things that it almost seems impossible to do it all. There’s school, extracurriculars, socializing, relationships, sleep, health, and the list goes on and on. There are so many numerous commitments that it becomes easy to focus on what you think is most important at the expense of neglecting the others. So, in this series I hope to teach people that not always having this perfect go-lucky life is okay because sometimes things won’t work out the way we may want them to. What we must do, however, is work to improve these conditions, not to the point of over-obsession, but to the point where we can effectively manage our lives and be conscious of caring for ourselves in the process. who are GYST DAYS FOR?
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS SERIES?Layout
Content wise I will post about/include
Be sure to stick around for more to come! Keep an eye out for the rest of the GYST series episodes! What do you think of this new series? Are you excited to have an inside look on how I reset my life after burnouts? I can’t wait to help guide you in the GYSTING process! If you have any friends that are in need of this series don’t be afraid to share this blog post with them! Love you guys and thank you for making this possible!
So here’s to more GYSTING! Until then I’ll be always smiling and beyoutiful,

I know this is only the introduction but I AM living for this series! I feel like now that summer is sooo close (you can almost taste it) I've become a bit more lazy and been slacking off in my schoolwork. Thx for motivating me so I can finish the year off strong.
