I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet To go over everything They say that time's supposed to heal ya But I ain't done much healing
Now that I’ve gotten your attention.... it’s time I introduce myself to you properly. First off, my name is Tarah and I live in the United States. I am a current high school junior, who’s almost a senior (which is completely mind blowing!). I live in New York, so you can find me in Manhattan or Long Island and everywhere in between. I enjoy school and am obsessed with all the aesthetics of school supplies. I am an avid reader, writer, poet, and artist with a slight coffee addiction and music obsession. Yes, I’m the type of person that smiles until my cheeks hurt, watches movies with a pint of Ben & Jerry’s, and trips over absolutely nothing, but I get back up laughing. Why do I sound like a cliche? Because I am. I’m an all around regular teenager. I have passion for taking pictures, creating art, making people laugh at my jokes (maybe not that one!), and most of all writting in improper grammar to express myself. I’ve loved my years of high school thus far and am looking to share advice and my weird blogging obsession with the rest of you.
So, my inspiration for this blog came during a warm sunny day in the summer of 2017...not exactly, but you get the picture. In fact, the process of starting this blog was more of a gradual process. I have always wanted to immerse myself in the amazing world of writing, whether fiction or nonfiction...(my ideal day!) ever since I was in elementary school. I love finding new ways to motivate myself and push myself to do things I didn’t think I could do. There’s something nerve racking, but also exhilarating about it. I guess that’s why I love rollercoasters so much! In 7th grade I made my own personal website using Weebly with a bucket list of activities to complete before 8th grade. Yikes! What a time! I loved letting my creativity run wild! The website was rather cute! (although a little plain for my liking) And I think it’s still up too!
Ever since I’ve always wrestled with the idea of starting an online platform going back and forth between a YouTube channel, a blog, a podcast, and so much more. And on the fateful June 2018 I finally made up my mind. That summer the blog was well underway and by July it was up and running. Since then, the rest has been history!
Which brings us to today.
So, I’m very pleased to meet you and I hope you feel the same about me.
Thank you for stopping by!
A little more about me
When I’m not busy with the blog, you can find me reading novels, drawing, painting, or plain old watching Youtube videos. Besides blogging and writing another passion of mine is science. I adore the medical field and look forward to a future in pediatrics, molecular biology, or chemistry. Honestly, all fields are open for my exploration. I still haven’t figured everything out yet!
People have always described me as fun, outgoing, and creative. I think it’s because I am in tune with myself. I love expressing who I am and being unapologetically Tarah!
